NURSERY BEFORE

The brief from the client was to optimise the small space as best as possible, and keeping the 2 x existing wardrobes  and dresser unit.

The client also already purchased a new bed for her 3 year old son which needed to be incorporated. After the first consolation it was obvious that the yellowish walls had to be repainted and the curtains to be replaced by roman blinds to open up the space and make it look bigger.

A mood board  as well as a floor plan including  3D perspectives  were provided keeping in mind all requirements as shown. The best possible floor layout was identified. I recommended  swopping the one wardrobe behind the door with the existing shelving as seen in the layout.

By introducing new roman blinds, painting of walls, a new chandelier and styling with mommy’s beautiful accessories, artwork and bedding, little Indy’s bedroom ended up looking like this. A total new soft peaceful and tranquil look!

His mommy also loved his existing silver elephant hooks and by mounting them on a natural piece of oak wood it provided a  more contemporary look as shown above. The black frame wardrobe was also repainted matching the new colour scheme of the room. This made a huge difference. Indy loved his new room and mommy as well.
